Ettercap is an open source network sniffer/logger/interceptor for ethernet LANs. It features extended support for active and passive dissection of many protocols (even ciphered ones, like SSH and HTTPS).

Data injection in an established connection and filtering on the fly is also possible, keeping the connection synchronized, and it also includes many feature for network and host analysis.

All this features are integrated with a easy-to-use and pleasureful ncurses/gtk interfaces.
